Mail and parcel deliveries to Bundeswehr soldiers on missions abroad are handled via the field post. This Bundeswehr postal service can only be used by members of the NATO armed forces outside of Europe, i.e. outside the EU. All orders and deliveries that are sent via the field post to the area of operation are exempt from German VAT.
Bei Bestellungen im Shop mit Lieferung über Feldpost wird der Rechnungsbetrag immer als Nettobetrag ausgewiesen. Die für die Produkte anfallende Mehrwertsteuer wird vor dem Absender der Bestellung abgezogen. Es gilt hierbei aber die bei Wiedereinfuhr der Produkte in die BRD, z.B. anlässlich Ihrer Rückreise, gesetzlichen Regelungen zu beachten, die zur Versteuerung in Kraft treten. Also eventuell lieber den letzten Eiweißshake & Co. noch im Einsatzgebiet genießen oder Freibeträge abklären.
How are military post orders sent from the shop?
Field post parcels are sent as a normal package via Deutsche Post AG (DHL). The delivery is made to the German field post office in Darmstadt and is sent from there to the deployment area. Parcel tracking via DHL tracking is only possible as far as Darmstadt.
The further transport of the parcels from Darmstadt to the country of deployment depends on the availability of the transport capacities and can take from a few days to two weeks (in exceptional cases longer). It is also possible to pay cash on delivery in the shop for field post orders. You then pay for the goods in cash upon receipt at the place of use.
How much are the shipping costs in the shop for field post delivery?
For field post orders, the same shipping costs apply in the shop as for domestic orders of currently 4.90 EUR *. From an order value of 100, - EUR * the delivery is free of shipping costs. The dispatch always takes place to the dispatch station of the field post in Darmstadt. The maximum weight of the packages is 31.5 kilograms. For larger orders, we divide the products such as nutritional supplements and sports equipment into several packages.
